MIKE WHITE MAYOR CANDIDATE WITHDRAWS

According to the Loudon County Election office, candidate Mike White has withdrawn from the Loudon County Mayor's race. White had qualified to run in the Republican Primary. The withdrawal deadline is February 25 for candidates to withdraw from the Primary and County General Election.
Glen Hagerman, Jr., Estelle Herron, Mark Matlock and Van Shaver remain in the Republican Primary and Lenoir City Mayor Matt Brookshire will run in the Democrat Primary. Brookshire has no opponents in the Democrat Primary and he advances to the August 5 County General - State Primary Election. Brookshire will face off with the winner of the Republican Primary race for county mayor. The Primary Election will be held May 4th.
