TVA is working on the Ft. Loudon Bridge so look for an alternate route unless you like to sit in traffic and waste gas idling. Routine bridge maintenance will take place October 21-23.  Please see press release below.

TVA To Close One Lane of U.S. Highway 321 Across Fort Loudoun Dam

(October 21-23 Tues-Thurs)

October 17, 2008

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. – Traffic crossing Fort Loudoun Dam on U.S. Highway 321 and State Route 73 will be restricted to one lane from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, through Thursday, Oct. 23, for bridge maintenance.
