PUBLIC NOTICE
Public Involvement Meeting Harrison Road Improvements Project Town Creek Parkway Extension Project
The City of Lenoir City will conduct a Highway Design Public Meeting on Thursday, January 26, 2012 to be held in the cafeteria of Lenoir City High School (1485 Old Highway 95, Lenoir City, Tennessee 37771) to discuss the Harrison Road Improvements and Town Creek Parkway Extension Projects. The meeting will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. during which time there will be a brief presentation followed by a question and answer session. Representatives from the City of Lenoir City and Cannon & Cannon, Inc. (Project Design Engineers) will be present to answer questions on any aspect of either project.
Aerial images of the project area and copies of the preliminary construction plans will be provided for viewing at the Public Meeting. All citizens are encouraged
to attend. A court reporter will be available to receive oral statements to be
included in the project transcript. In addition, comment sheets are available
for those who prefer to make written statements.

Charter Review Committee
The City of Lenoir City will hold the initial meeting of the Charter Review
Committee at City Hall, in the small conference room, on Monday, January 23,
2012 at 3:00 P.M. The meeting is in accordance with Article V, Section 1 of the
Lenoir City Charter which states the following, included within the duties and
powers of the Mayor:
"The Mayor shall appoint an advisory charter review commission at least every
four (4) years to review the City Charter and make recommendations to the
City Council for proposed amendments."
The purpose of the initial meeting will be to conduct an orientation for the
committee, to set the meetings to follow, and to begin discussion of any
recommendations for charter amendments for public referendum to the City
Council. The meetings will be advertised accordingly. The public is encouraged to attend.
