Consideration of City Council approving 2010‐2011 Budget Amendments for the General Fund, State Street Aid Fund, Downtown VIP (Visual Improvement Program) Fund, Sanitation Fund, Capital Projects I Fund, Capital Projects II Fund, Community Development Grant Fund, Police Department’s DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency Fund, and Police Department’s State Drug Fund.
Consideration of City Council authorizing street closure (1st Avenue from C to D Streets) for Calvary Baptist Church regarding Halloween event for October 30, 2011; 4:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M.
Consideration of City Council approving the creation of City Safety Committee. – Dale Hurst/Amber Scott
Consideration of Purchasing Committee’s recommendation regarding bid opening for FEMA 2010 (Federal Emergency Management Agency) AFG (Assistance to Firefighters) Operations Grant in two (2) areas: Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and Personal Protection Equipment (Turnout Gear). – Purchasing Committee/Chief Martin
Consideration of Purchasing Committee’s recommendation regarding the "going out for bids" in regards to purchase of City Street Sweeper. – Purchasing Committee/Mr. Cox
Consideration of City Council adopting Memorandum of Understanding; inter‐jurisdictional mutual aid communications; for Anderson, Blount, Roane, and Loudon Counties. – Mayor Aikens/Chief White/Chief Martin
