Loudon County Board of Education

 

 

 

First day to pick up petition: January 1, 2010 (closed) January 4, 2010 - office re-opens.

It requires 25 valid signatures of voters in the applicable districts to qualify. 

Deadline to turn in petition: April 1, 2010 12:00 NOON.

 

Independent Candidates. Non-partisan race.

District 2 - Lenoir City (2 seats)

District 4 - Philadelphia (1 seat)

District 6 - Highland Park (1 seat)

 

Salary: $300.00 monthly or $3,600 yearly. The compensation of the board of education is fixed by the county legislative body T.C.A. § 49-2-202.

Qualifications: Members of the board of education must be residents and voters of the county in which they are elected, and, except in a few counties, must possess a high school degree or G.E.D.
